Mitrade named Official Trading Partner of World Snooker Tour

Mitrade, a CFD trading platform, has announced its role as the Official Trading Partner for the World Snooker Tour (WST) for the 2026/27 season. The partnership is set to officially launch at the British Open in Cheltenham on August 31, 2026.

The sponsorship aligns with a demographic shift in both the trading and snooker sectors. In the Asia-Pacific region, retail trading participation has grown by 16% over the last five years, driven largely by younger investors in Southeast Asia. Similarly, snooker is seeing a younger audience in China, where 80% of fans are under the age of 50, compared to 27% in the United Kingdom.

Mitrade reported significant growth leading up to this partnership, noting a 54% year-on-year increase in active trading clients since January 2026, alongside a 149% increase in total lots traded. Company executives stated that the discipline and focus required for snooker reflect the core values of responsible and informed trading.
