Mitsubishi and Honda announce updates to vehicle lineups

Mitsubishi has announced a minor update to its eK X, a light high-roof crossover SUV. The updated model, which features a 660cc engine with a mild hybrid system, aims for a fuel efficiency of up to 23.2 km/L in WLTC mode. Key enhancements include improved safety features such as an expanded camera angle for the collision mitigation braking system, the addition of a rear seat reminder, and the transition to USB Type-C ports. The vehicle is available in various trims, including natural aspiration and turbocharger options, with prices starting at approximately 1.85 million yen.

In the United Kingdom, Honda is implementing a new pricing structure for its CR-V and ZR-V compact crossover SUV ranges, effective November 2. The ZR-V e:HEV will now start at £35,215 for the Elegance trim, a reduction from its previous starting price. The CR-V lineup, which includes both hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants, also sees price adjustments. Honda stated these changes are intended to reinforce its commitment to delivering value alongside hybrid technology and premium comfort.
