Mitsubishi Attrage price cut to 300 million VND in Vietnam
A southern‑Vietnam dealership announced a one‑off discount on a 2025 Mitsubishi Attrage MT, selling the sedan for 300 million VND—about 80 million VND below the standard 380 million VND list price. The price makes the Attrage cheaper than most A‑segment hatchbacks, including the Hyundai Grand i10 (360‑455 million VND) and Kia Morning (349‑424 million VND), and positions it as a rare low‑cost option in the B‑segment sedan market.
The Attrage MT is equipped with a 1.2‑litre MIVEC engine delivering 78 hp and 100 Nm of torque, a five‑speed manual gearbox, and fuel consumption of roughly 5.09 L/100 km. Standard safety features include ABS, EBD, BA, ASC, HSA and two front airbags. While the model’s sales have been modest—717 units in the first half of the year, placing it near the bottom of its segment—it remains a competitor to other sub‑500 million VND sedans such as the Kia Soluto, Mazda 2, Hyundai Accent, Toyota Vios, Honda City and Toyota Corolla.
The deep discount highlights the competitive pressure in Vietnam’s affordable‑car segment, where manufacturers vie for price‑sensitive buyers seeking fuel‑efficient, low‑maintenance vehicles for personal or commercial use.
