Mitsubishi Electric acquires Advantech Time

Mitsubishi Electric Hydronics & IT Cooling Systems (Mehits) has acquired Advantech Time srl, an engineering and virtual design firm based in Udine, Italy. Founded in 2014, Advantech Time is a spin-off from the University of Udine, established to transform scientific research into market-ready products and services.

The company specializes in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, acoustics, and vibrations. Its expertise includes advanced simulations, the design and construction of test benches, laboratory testing, and the development of dedicated software tools. Advantech Time has historically supported various industries in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region through research and development activities.

Luca Casarsa, one of the founding partners, noted that the acquisition serves as a recognition of the value developed by the team and demonstrates how university research can be converted into industrial innovation and value.
