Mitsubishi Fuso recalls 111,195 Canter Euro 4 trucks in Indonesia

PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB), the distributor for Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC), has launched a Field Fix Campaign to recall 111,195 units of the Mitsubishi Fuso Canter Euro 4.

The recall affects vehicles produced between April 2022 and May 2026. The issue involves a potential malfunction in the brake light switch, where internal contact performance may degrade over time due to excessive electrical voltage or temperature increases. This could prevent the rear brake lights from functioning optimally or trigger warning lights on the instrument panel.

KTB Sales and Marketing Director Aji Jaya stated that the issue is limited to the brake light switch and does not affect the vehicle's primary braking system or overall performance. As a proactive measure, KTB will replace the affected components with upgraded versions. The program began on September 24, 2026, and will be conducted through a scheduled service system via official Mitsubishi Fuso dealers.
