Mitsubishi Fuso resumes operations at Tramagal production hub

Mitsubishi Fuso Truck Europe (MFTE) has resumed operations at its Tramagal plant in Abrantes, Portugal, following a summer shutdown. The company reaffirmed that the facility remains its central production hub for European operations, a status that remains unchanged following the integration of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) into the ARCHION Group.

The factory currently employs approximately 400 workers. The resumption of activity follows a period of reduced operations in July, during which 267 employees were subject to temporary layoffs or contract suspensions. Prior to the summer break, the company had announced adjustments to production plans and human resources, including a voluntary departure program.
