Mitsubishi L200 returns to European markets
Mitsubishi is reintroducing the L200 pickup truck to the European market after a five-year absence. The model is currently available in the United Kingdom and Germany, with negotiations ongoing for additional markets.
In Europe, the L200 is offered exclusively in a double cab configuration. In Germany, customers can choose between the L200 Diamant and the L200 Diamant Top trims. In the United Kingdom, the lineup includes the L200 Titan as the standard variant and the L200 Barbarian as the high-end option. The vehicle features a design similar to the global Triton model but includes specific regional adjustments, such as unique emblems.
Performance is driven by a 2.4-liter bi-turbo diesel engine producing approximately 204 PS and 470 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a six-speed manual paired with the Easy Select 4WD system, or a six-speed automatic paired with the Super Select 4WD II system. While current models lack electrification, a hybrid powertrain may be introduced in the future.
