Mitsubishi Ralliart wins 2026 Asia Cross Country Rally

Mitsubishi Ralliart has secured its second consecutive victory at the 2026 Asia Cross Country Rally (AXCR) in Thailand. The team utilized three Mitsubishi Triton vehicles, modified from commercial versions with enhanced chassis, suspension, and engine configurations, to navigate a 2,145.19 km course.

The race featured diverse and challenging terrains, including forests, gravel, mud, and river crossings, compounded by heavy rain and humid conditions. Drivers Hiroshi Masuoka and Chayapon Yotha led the team to the championship with a total time of 12 hours, 58 minutes, and 20 seconds.

This win marks the third time Mitsubishi Ralliart has claimed the AXCR title, following previous victories in 2022 and 2025. While the lead pair dominated, other team members faced difficulties; Kazuto Koide finished 27th after getting stuck in a ditch during the first stage, and teammate Yotha finished in 36th place.
