Mitsubishi returns to SEMA Show with 2028 Outlander debut

Mitsubishi Motors North America will return to the SEMA Show in Las Vegas from November 3 to 6, 2026, marking its first appearance at the event since 2012. The automaker will host a world premiere of the 2028 Outlander Diamond Trail Edition, a trim designed for enhanced off-road capability.

The Outlander Diamond Trail Edition features a new ‘Rock’ drive mode within its Super All-Wheel Control system, utilizing advanced brake control to manage wheel slip on uneven terrain. The vehicle includes a dedicated instrument-cluster display for real-time feedback on steering angle and traction control, as well as an extended Multi-View Camera System active up to 18.6 mph.

To improve off-road performance, the model is equipped with redesigned front and rear bumpers to increase approach and departure angles, alongside 265/65-18 all-terrain tires. Mitsubishi plans to exhibit a total of six vehicles at the show, ranging from production models to custom prototypes, as part of its ‘Momentum 2030’ business plan.
