Mitsubishi Shokuhin to transfer Lindt import rights to Lindt & Sprüngli Japan

Mitsubishi Shokuhin Co., Ltd. has agreed to transfer the import operations for Lindt & Sprüngli products in Japan to Lindt & Sprüngli Japan K.K., effective April 1, 2027.

This restructuring aims to centralize the Lindt Group’s logistics and temperature control systems in the Japanese market. By transitioning to a unified management system under Lindt & Sprüngli Japan, the company intends to integrate logistics functions for both directly managed stores and general retail outlets.

Mitsubishi Shokuhin, which has served as the authorized distributor for Lindt products in Japan since June 2023, will continue its role as a wholesaler. The company will remain a key sales partner, providing product supply, sales, and logistics services to its business clients.
