Mitsui Fudosan to launch customer gratitude system at 50 facilities

Mitsui Fudosan has announced the nationwide rollout of ‘Thanks STAFF’, a project designed to improve employee experience (EX) and satisfaction (ES) by visualizing customer gratitude. Starting in mid-January 2027, the system will be implemented across 50 commercial facilities in Japan in collaboration with Vanish Standard.

Through the ‘Thank You Post’ system, customers can send bouquet stamps and optional messages to staff members via the ‘STAFF START’ smartphone app. This initiative aims to address labor shortages in the retail sector by increasing staff motivation and job fulfillment. The project includes not only tenant staff but also cleaning, security, and reception personnel.

A pilot program conducted at LaLaport Ebina between October 2025 and January 2026 demonstrated positive results. Following the pilot, staff intention to continue working increased by 8.6%, and work motivation rose by 8.9%. Notably, 99.9% of the feedback received from customers was positive.
