Mitsukoshi Isetan IT firm to open first non-Tokyo office in Nagasaki

Mitsukoshi Isetan System Solutions, an IT firm within the Mitsukoshi Isetan Group, has signed an agreement to establish its first business office outside of Tokyo in Nagasaki City. The new facility is scheduled to begin operations on October 1, 2027.

The decision to locate in Nagasaki was driven by the availability of immediate talent from local information technology universities. Four students from Nagasaki University and Nagasaki Prefectural University have already received job offers. The company aims to hire 30 local employees over the first five years and eventually move toward autonomous operations in the region.
