Indian consumer electronics brand Mivi has announced its entry into the smartphone market with the upcoming launch of the Mivi One 5G, scheduled for September 24 in India. The device will be sold exclusively through the e-commerce platform Flipkart.

While specific pricing has not been disclosed, the handset is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, potentially the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 based on recent benchmarking leaks. The device is rumored to offer RAM options of 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB, and will run Android 16. Design previews show a modern aesthetic with a flat back panel, a dual-camera array, and a green color option.

Mivi Co-Founder Viswanadh Kandula stated that the move into smartphones is a natural progression of the company’s strategy to build domestic hardware infrastructure and design consumer technology within India.
