Miyagi Prefecture to host inbound tourism development seminar

Miyagi Prefecture will host its third tourism human resource development seminar on October 13 in Sendai. The event, titled “Creating Facilities and Services that are ‘Chosen’: Thinking from Customer Understanding, Inbound Acceptance, and Service Improvement,” aims to support tourism businesses struggling to attract and serve international travelers.

The seminar will feature expert Keisuke Murayama from Yamato Gokoro Co., Ltd., who will discuss inbound strategies from a customer-centric perspective. Additionally, Atsushi Yamaguchi of DMC Tendo Onsen will share practical insights on regional cooperation and building attractive local destinations. The session is designed for business owners, executives, and staff to help them identify target demographics, improve services for foreign guests, and articulate their unique value propositions.
