Miyu Yamashita leads Aramco Korea Championship after 36 holes

Miyu Yamashita holds a two-shot lead at the halfway mark of the Aramco Korea Championship at the New Korea Country Club. The Japanese golfer recorded a bogey-free 68 in the second round, bringing her total to 9-under par.

Chasing Yamashita are Louise Rydqvist and Sung Hyun Park, both sitting at 7-under par. Rydqvist, a rookie on the Ladies European Tour, carded a bogey-free 67 to move into second place.

The tournament, which features a $2 million purse, has transitioned to a 72-hole individual strokeplay format. The cut for the weekend was established at 1-over par, with 66 players advancing to the final two rounds.
