Miyu Yamashita to defend EVE International Championship against Marina Shafir

Miyu Yamashita will defend her Pro Wrestling EVE International Championship against Marina Shafir at the Elite Encounters II event on November 8 in Wolverhampton, England. The championship match follows Yamashita’s successful title defense against Arisu Endo at Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling’s Wrestle Princess VII.

The rivalry between the two athletes intensified after Shafir, a member of the Death Riders and an AEW talent, attacked Yamashita from behind during the EVE x The World 2 event. Following her recent victory in Japan, Yamashita officially called out Shafir to settle the score.

Elite Encounters II will feature several bouts involving AEW talent, including a match for the EVE Championship between Kris Statlander and Kay Lee Ray. The event will be available for viewing via MyAEW as a pay-per-view and through EVE’s Champion Tier on YouTube.
