Mizuho Financial Group and NHN Techorus announce new AI initiatives using Anthropic's Claude

Japanese financial institution Mizuho Financial Group has announced the development of ‘Mizuho Cowork’, an autonomous AI agent platform designed to handle complex desk work. Utilizing Anthropic’s Claude Agent SDK on AWS, the platform allows AI agents to perform multi-step tasks such as research, data analysis, screen operation, and document creation. The system uses a dual-layer architecture to combine general agent capabilities with Mizuho’s specific business knowledge and internal rules.

Simultaneously, NHN Techorus has launched a comprehensive support service for Anthropic’s Claude generative AI model. This service aims to assist companies with the entire lifecycle of AI adoption, including contract and payment management via Claude on Amazon Bedrock, technical implementation, governance design, and cost optimization. The service includes advisory support for best practices and internal training to ensure effective business integration.
