Japanese actress Mizuki Yamashita has revealed a dramatic new look, debuting a very short hairstyle on Instagram. The change is intended for her role in the upcoming Prime Original drama ‘Jirai Glico’, which is set for exclusive worldwide streaming on Prime Video starting November 13.

Yamashita will portray Nieko Saburi, a charismatic and highly intelligent student council president who dominates her school. To ensure authenticity for the role, Yamashita stated she cut her hair short to perform with her natural hair rather than using a wig. She also revealed on her Instagram Stories that she had been hiding her hair length with wigs for the past year without fans noticing.
