ROBOZ launches Japan’s first drone‑borne LED display at Mizunami fireworks festival

ROBOZ Co., Ltd. introduced its Mega Sorabi system – a fleet of large LED‑equipped drones – at the 67th Mizunami (Mizunami‑Mino‑Genji‑Tanabata) fireworks festival in Gifu Prefecture on 8 August 2026. The drones flew over the riverbank before the opening fireworks and again for the finale, projecting video, text and logos that were synchronized with the pyrotechnics.

Company CEO Hiroki Ishida said the project blends Japan’s historic fireworks culture with cutting‑edge drone technology to create a “new era of night‑sky entertainment” and hopes the display will become a model for festivals, sports events and music concerts across the country.
