Mizuno launches sustainable Peanuts‑themed baseball gear

Mizuno Co., Ltd. announced the release of eight new baseball products featuring characters from the Peanuts comic. The items – including junior gloves, a soft‑metal bat, leather accessories and wooden memorabilia – are part of the "Take Care With Peanuts" sustainability project, which reuses off‑spec materials and promotes environmental care. The collection will be sold from August 10 through Mizuno’s official online store and at the Nishinomiya‑Hankyu and Kobe‑Hankyu "Peanuts LIFE & TIMES" locations.

The initiative aligns with Mizuno’s long‑term goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 and reflects the broader "Take Care" mission of Peanuts Worldwide, whose intellectual property is owned 80 % by Sony Group and 20 % by the family of Charles M. Schulz. The products aim to encourage children to enjoy baseball while supporting a more sustainable future.
