MŠK Iuventa Michalovce and Slovak handball clubs face European competition

Slovak women's handball clubs are preparing for significant upcoming fixtures in both domestic and European competitions. MŠK Iuventa Michalovce, the reigning Slovak champion, is currently on a winning streak in the Doprastav league, following recent victories in Olomouc, Prague, and Písek. The team is scheduled to face Most in a rescheduled fifth-round match before traveling to Plzeň for a seventh-round duel.

In European competition, the EHF European Cup third-round draw has determined the next opponents for Slovak teams. MŠK Iuventa Michalovce, a former finalist, will face the Israeli club Bnot-Herzliya. HC DAC Dunajská Streda is set to play against the Dutch league leaders, JuRo Unirek VZV, while HK Slovan Duslo Šaľa will compete against VIF Vestmanna from the Faroe Islands. All three Slovak clubs will play their first legs away from home on November 7th and 8th, with return matches scheduled for November 14th and 15th.
