MK Stalin criticizes opposition at DMK Mupperum Vizha

DMK President MK Stalin delivered a speech during the party’s ‘Mupperum Vizha’ event held at the Anna Arivalayam in Chennai. During the ceremony, which honors the birthdays of leaders Anna and Periyar, Stalin distributed several awards to party members and journalists.

In his address, Stalin criticized the current opposition, accusing them of building an image of popularity despite lacking a majority. He further targeted the state's leadership, alleging that the Chief Minister is focusing on personal image and cinematic-style performances rather than governance. Stalin claimed that while Tamil Nadu previously led in economic growth, it is now facing high inflation. He also accused the administration of attempting to undermine the ‘Dravidian model’ by stopping or renaming welfare schemes.
