MKE showcases TOLGA defense system at Egypt aviation fair

Makine ve Kimya Endüstrisi (MKE), a Turkish defense company under the Ministry of National Defense, is participating in the El Alamein International Aviation Exhibition in Egypt. The company is showcasing a variety of air defense systems, weapons, and ammunition.

A primary focus of the exhibition is the TOLGA Close Air Defense System. This modular system features 12.7 mm and 20 mm vehicle-mounted and fixed turret weapon systems, anti-drone ammunition, the Gökbörü AESA Radar, acoustic detection systems, and electronic jamming capabilities. Recent enhancements to the TOLGA system include the integration of a laser weapon system and the ENFAL-17 missile to improve effectiveness against diverse aerial threats.

In addition to the TOLGA system, MKE is displaying infantry and sniper rifles, 60 mm and 81 mm mortar ammunition, 105 mm and 155 mm howitzer ammunition, and tank ammunition. The company aims to use the event to demonstrate its solutions for asymmetric aerial threats to international participants and military delegations, while seeking to develop new defense industry collaborations.
