MKS Kluczbork defeats Stilon Gorzów Wielkopolski 1-0

Stilon Gorzów Wielkopolski suffered its first home defeat of the season, losing 0-1 to MKS Kluczbork in the fifth round of the III league group 3. Jakub Trojanowski scored the decisive goal for the visitors in the 5th minute with a header following a corner kick.

Shortly after the goal, Trojanowski was fouled in the penalty area, but Stilon goalkeeper Adam Stachowiak successfully saved Dawid Wojtyra’s penalty attempt. Despite Stilon dominating much of the second half and several attempts by players such as Cezary Andrzejewski, Mateusz Walczak, and Dominik Zakrzewski, MKS Kluczbork goalkeeper Bartosz Warszakowski made key saves to maintain the lead.

Prior to the match, Stilon officials held a ceremony to thank former coach Mateusz Konefał and assistant Adam Suchowera for their work in promoting the team to the III league, as well as former captain Filip Wiśniewski.
