Málaga CF players David Larrubia and Chupete face performance struggles

Málaga CF players David Larrubia and Chupete are experiencing significant difficulties during the current season. Both players are currently performing well below the levels they demonstrated in previous seasons, which is impacting the team's overall results.

Larrubia, an attacking midfielder, has struggled with offensive production, including a recent match against Alavés where he recorded zero successful dribbles and no completed crosses. Despite his lack of statistical output, coach Funes has expressed confidence in the player's talent and work ethic, noting that Larrubia's strong sense of belonging to the club can sometimes intensify the pressure he feels.

Chupete is also facing a period of low productivity. While the team has seen strong performances from Adrián Niño, the lack of scoring from the primary forwards remains a concern for the squad's progression in the league.
