Málaga CF faces UD Las Palmas in decisive Segunda División playoff

Málaga CF and UD Las Palmas will meet on 10 June at La Rosaleda for the second leg of the Segunda División promotion playoff. The first‑leg match in Gran Canaria ended 1‑0 to Málaga, giving the Andalusian side a one‑goal aggregate advantage. Las Palmas must win by at least two goals to advance directly; if the aggregate score is level after extra time, Málaga will progress on the basis of its higher regular‑season ranking, as there will be no penalty shoot‑out.

The kickoff is scheduled for 20:00 (local time). Broadcasts will be available on LaLigaTV through Movistar, DAZN and Orange, as well as on the regional channel CANARIAS 7. Málaga will be without several regulars – central defender Einar Galilea (muscle issue), Haitam, Dorrio, Pastor and Luismi Sánchez – while Las Palmas will miss Sandro and Ale García, with Barcia and Viti Rozada listed as doubtful.
