Málaga hosts 13th Neonatology Meeting for medical professionals

More than 200 healthcare professionals from 25 Spanish provinces gathered in Málaga for the 13th Neonatology Meeting on October 8 and 9. Organized by the Neonatology and Pediatrics Service of Hospital Quirónsalud Málaga and the Uncibay Pediatric Group, the event focused on rapid innovations in the field.

Led by Dr. Manuel Baca Cots, the program addressed complex controversies including viability limits at 22–23 weeks of gestation, the use of hypothermia for brain injury stabilization between 33 and 35 weeks, and pain management during respiratory procedures. The meeting also explored the application of artificial intelligence in predictive medicine.
