Málaga Police seize 27kg of sushi during Feria de Málaga

Málaga Local Police, in collaboration with the City Council's Health and Consumer Inspection Service, seized and destroyed 27 kilograms of sushi during the Feria de Málaga.

Authorities intercepted a motorcyclist transporting 91 sushi rolls in a vehicle trunk that lacked proper refrigeration. The only cooling method used was domestic ice packs, which was insufficient given the high temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius and high humidity. The driver, a restaurant owner, was attempting to deliver the products to a stand at the Cortijo de Torres fairgrounds. Following the intervention, the merchandise was immobilized to prevent consumption.
