MLB 2026 Draft Selections Released

Major League Baseball announced the full slate of selections for the 2026 draft. The first round featured players such as Roch Cholowsky (SS, UCLA) for the Chicago White Sox, Grady Emerson (SS, Fort Worth Christian HS) for the Tampa Bay Rays, and Vahn Lackey (C, Georgia Tech) for the Minnesota Twins.

Five clubs—New York Mets, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, Toronto Blue Jays and Los Angeles Dodgers—were each penalised ten draft positions for exceeding the competitive‑balance tax threshold. The draft continued through the competitive‑balance round and the second round, with picks listed for all 30 clubs, including notable selections like Hunter Dietz (LHP, Arkansas) for the New York Yankees and Tyler Spangler (SS, De La Salle HS, CA) for the Phillies.
