MLB All-Star 2026 voting sees Venezuelan and Dominican finalists

The first phase of voting for the 2026 Major League Baseball All-Star Game has concluded, advancing several players to the second round. Venezuelan outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. (Atlanta Braves) and infielder Andrés Giménez (Texas Rangers) are among the finalists seeking starting spots for the National and American Leagues, respectively. Acuña Jr. received 1,723,945 votes, placing third in the National League outfield race, while Giménez earned over 1.5 million votes in the shortstop category.

From the Dominican Republic, Juan Soto, Teoscar Hernández, Junior Caminero, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Jesús Sánchez have moved on to the next voting stage. The second phase runs from noon Eastern Time on Monday until noon on Thursday, July 2, allowing fans to cast a vote each 24 hours via MLB.com, team sites, the MLB app, or the MLB Ballpark app. The All-Star Game will be held in Philadelphia on July 11, 2026.
