MLB teams face mid-season struggles in San Francisco and Seattle

Despite these struggles, the Giants' prospect system shows promise with 19-year-old Jhonny Level. The Venezuelan shortstop has advanced rapidly through Low-A and High-A, maintaining a .317 average with 17 home runs and 23 stolen bases this season. Level is expected to reach the Triple-A level by 2027.

Meanwhile, the Seattle Mariners are also struggling, sitting six games below a .500 record. While the team possesses a strong pitching staff with a top-ten ERA, they rank among the league's worst in slugging percentage and OPS. The team recently gave a start to 22-year-old pitching prospect Kade Anderson.
