MLP 2026 Pickleball: Chicago Slice and St. Louis Shock Remain Unbeaten
In the second day of the 2026 Major League Pickleball (MLP) Chicago tournament, the Chicago Slice won both of its matches, joining the Dallas Flash as the only unbeaten teams in the event. Brooklyn Pickleball Team also stayed unbeaten in Group A, while other teams exchanged wins and losses, setting up a decisive final round before the knockout stage.
Earlier in the season, St. Louis Shock ended Anna Leigh Waters and Jorja Johnson’s 25‑match unbeaten run in women’s doubles at the mid‑season title tournament in Grand Rapids. By directing play away from Waters and focusing on Johnson, the Shock secured a 3‑0 sweep, earning ten standing points and their first mid‑season championship.
Both results highlight a shift in the 2026 MLP season, with multiple teams demonstrating strategies that could shape the remaining regular‑season events and the upcoming playoffs.
