MLW secures Tubi deal amid Tessa Blanchard contract controversy

Major League Wrestling (MLW) has entered a new rights fees and revenue-sharing deal with Tubi for its Fusion program. This agreement follows a previous cancellation of an MLW-Tubi deal, which MLW claimed was due to pressure from WWE. Reports indicate a $20 million settlement was reached between the promotions following that dispute.

Separately, professional wrestler Tessa Blanchard is involved in a controversy regarding her contractual commitments between MLW and CMLL. During a TMZ interview, Blanchard announced she was signing with MLW, but CMLL subsequently issued a statement clarifying that her involvement with MLW was limited to a single appearance on September 12 and did not constitute a long-term commitment.

As a result of the discrepancy, MLW removed Blanchard from its promotional materials for the Fightland TV tapings in Charleston, South Carolina. Reports suggest CMLL representatives were present during the interview call where Blanchard made her announcement, despite the organization's apparent surprise at her statements.
