Mlázovice pool revamp and Humenné road upgrades improve local infrastructure

The swimming‑pool complex in the Czech village of Mlázovice completed a multi‑year renovation that began in 2024. Work included replacing hydro‑isolation, water and electricity networks, windows, doors and ceramic tiling, installing a new roof and kitchen ventilation, and equipping the kitchen and outdoor bar with stainless‑steel fixtures. An outdoor shower was added and the facilities now meet current hygiene standards, with a façade refurbishment planned for 2027.

In the Slovak town of Humenné, municipal authorities continued a large‑scale modernization program in 2026. A newly built 23 × 12 m parking area behind the Leny store now offers 17 spaces. Construction progressed on the Laborecká roundabout, including load‑bearing bridge tests, new lighting, and a second phase of road resurfacing on Starinská street (about 520 m). Additional works involve replacing old asphalt, upgrading sidewalks, and creating a reinforced multi‑purpose area at the community centre. The city expects to finish the projects by the end of August.
