MM Mega Market launches food safety solutions for school canteens in Ho Chi Minh City

MM Mega Market Vietnam (MMVN) held a seminar on food safety for school canteens, bringing together officials from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Trade, representatives of the city’s high‑tech association, school principals and parents from more than 30 primary and secondary schools. MMVN explained its end‑to‑end supply‑chain control, from VietGAP‑certified farms and production sites through cold‑storage, processing, transport and distribution, and announced plans to integrate blockchain and QR‑code traceability to let schools and parents track food from origin to plate.

The department introduced its "Tick Xanh Trách Nhiệm" (TXTN) program, encouraging companies to meet higher quality and transparency standards, and highlighted MMVN as a leading participant. School food managers praised the cold‑chain logistics and traceability tools for increasing confidence in ingredient safety. CEO Nguyen Duc Toan emphasized that food safety is a long‑term commitment to customers and the community, and that the company aims to support transparent, sustainable school meals nationwide.
