MM2 Asia and subsidiary ordered to pay S$213,000 to CPF

MM2 Asia and its wholly-owned subsidiary, MM2 Entertainment, have been ordered to pay a combined total of approximately S$213,000 to the Central Provident Fund (CPF). During a court hearing on September 16, it was revealed that MM2 Asia owes nearly S$15,000, while MM2 Entertainment owes approximately S$198,000.

Representatives for the companies requested additional time to settle the debt, citing severe financial constraints. Counsel for MM2 Entertainment stated that the company currently lacks sufficient funds but expects to receive S$15 million by the end of the year, proposing a repayment schedule starting in January. However, prosecution lawyers argued that the company should continue making payments rather than waiting until the new year.
