MMA fighter Mayvir Orman to compete for international title in Paraguay

Aruban Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) athlete Mayvir “Aruban Earthquake” Orman is preparing for an international title bout in Asunción, Paraguay. Currently the SFC International Heavyweight Champion, Orman is set to compete in the 93kg category for the SFC International Light Heavyweight Championship on September 19, 2026.

Orman will face a professional athlete from Argentina in the Main Event of the South American Fighting Championship (SFC), a collaboration between SFC and the World Kickboxing Network (WKN). To prepare, Orman will travel to Bogotá, Colombia, on August 9 for an intensive training camp at Exile Combat Studio.

Prime Minister Mike Eman recently met with Orman to offer encouragement. Orman expressed his pride in representing Aruba on an international platform, stating, “I will represent Aruba with much honor and I will bring the belt too.”
