MMA fighters Daniel Bažant and Antun Račić exchange social media challenges

A potential new rivalry is developing within the regional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) scene as Daniel Bažant and Antun Račić engage in a public exchange of provocations on social media. The tension began when Bažant posted training footage on Instagram with a message stating that preparations for a fight against Račić had commenced.

Račić, a former KSW bantamweight champion, responded by claiming that discussions regarding a matchup had occurred several weeks prior for an event in Rijeka, but noted that an agreement was not reached. Bažant expressed interest in the fight but specified he would not compete in Rijeka, instead challenging Račić to find a different date.

Miran Fabjan has also joined the discussion, adding further attention to the potential bout as the FNC organization prepares for upcoming events.
