MMH Kunststofftechnik GmbH terminates all employees in Laisa
The insolvency administrator for MMH Kunststofftechnik GmbH, Carsten Koch, has announced the termination of all remaining 65 employees at the company’s Laisa location. The decision follows the company’s insolvency filing in February.
At its peak, MMH employed up to 480 people across its Laisa and Frankenberg sites. The company specialized in assembling plastic and metal components into technical modules, acting as an outsourced production partner for other firms.
According to Koch, the current order situation does not allow for the continued operation of the business. The decline was attributed to several client companies reclaiming previously outsourced orders due to broader economic downturns in various industries.
