MMM Capital targets growth via Thailand’s PLUS housing loan scheme

MMM Capital Public Company Limited (MMM) expects to benefit from the Thai government’s ‘Baan Kon La Lang PLUS’ (One House Per Person PLUS) housing loan program. The initiative features a 50 billion baht credit framework with special interest rates of 2.60% to 2.80% for the first one to two years, alongside relaxed income criteria.

Nicha Rojwattana, CEO of MMM, stated that the company anticipates a recovery in property transfers starting in the fourth quarter of 2026, particularly within the segment of homes priced under 3 million baht. The company aims to leverage this demand to boost its sales management and mortgage loan businesses, targeting sustained profit growth through 2027.

To maximize success, MMM is implementing a strategy to screen for ‘real demand’ customers. This includes assisting buyers with budget assessments, income documentation, and debt-to-expense evaluations to ensure they are prepared for long-term mortgage commitments.
