Münchener GC and Frankfurter GC win German Team Championships

Münchener GC and Frankfurter GC secured their first German Team Championship (DMM) titles in the age category 30.

In the women's competition held at GC Gäuboden, Münchener GC claimed victory by defeating Berliner GC Gatow with a score of 3.5:1.5. After qualifying as leaders, the Munich team secured their place in the final following a playoff victory against GC Neuhof in the semifinals. Berliner GC Gatow earned the silver medal, while G&LC Berlin-Wannsee took bronze after defeating GC Neuhof 3.5:1.5.

The men's championship took place at GC Hamburg Wendlohe, where Frankfurter GC achieved an upset victory. Despite entering the matchplay phase as the second-ranked qualifiers, Frankfurt defeated the favorites, G&LC Berlin-Wannsee, with a final score of 3:2. The decisive point was secured by Stefan Wiedergrün. G&LC Berlin-Wannsee took the silver medal, and GC Hösel claimed third place after defeating GC Am Reichswald 3.5:1.5.
