MNRK Music Group acquires Black Label Society catalog

MNRK Music Group has acquired the complete recorded catalog of the heavy metal band Black Label Society, founded by guitarist Zakk Wylde. The acquisition encompasses more than two decades of work, including 11 studio albums, live releases, EPs, compilation projects, and Wylde’s solo recordings.

Specific album titles included in the deal are ‘Stronger Than Death’, ‘Order of the Black’, ‘1919 Eternal’, and ‘The Blessed Hellride’, as well as the 2013 acoustic live album ‘Unblackened’. MNRK intends to focus on catalog curation, reissues, and expanding the reach of these recordings through streaming, vinyl, and other new formats.

MNRK Music Group CEO and President Sean Stevenson noted that the deal deepens a long-standing relationship with Wylde. While the financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, the company stated that Wylde will remain involved in how the music is presented to fans.
