MNS workers allegedly harass influencer in Pune over Raj Thackeray remarks

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers in Pune allegedly targeted social media influencer Mahesh Mote for making derogatory remarks about party leader Raj Thackeray in a recent video reel.

According to reports, MNS workers intercepted Mote in the Katraj area after he returned from Kerala. He was reportedly taken to the MNS party office, where his face was smeared with black ink. Video footage shows Mote appearing emotional and tearful while being forced to apologize in front of a photograph of Raj Thackeray. He was also allegedly made to perform squats with a slipper placed on his head.

MNS local leader Shubham Jagdale described the incident as the party’s ‘own way’ of responding to insults against their leader, warning that similar actions would be taken against anyone making offensive comments about Raj Thackeray. While videos of the apology have circulated on social media, there has been no official confirmation of police action against the MNS workers involved.
