Mo Kaleem leads Somerset Under 18s to victory

Mo Kaleem, a 16-year-old left-arm spinner, led Somerset Under 18s to a 232-run victory against Worcestershire in the ECB Under 18 Championship at Taunton Cricket Club. Kaleem recorded a seven-wicket haul (7 for 49) in the second innings after previously taking 4 for 65 in the first. Somerset's batting featured a century from Bertie Michael (111) in the first innings and 102 from Oscar Coleman in the second.

Additionally, the Somerset Under 18 Boys secured a place in the ECB County Cup final after defeating Middlesex by 128 runs in the semi-final. Toby Stoddard contributed 95 runs in that match, while Harvey Richards took 5 for 29. Somerset is scheduled to face Yorkshire in the final on August 31 at Kibworth, Leicestershire.
