Moana collection features collectible figures and storybooks

A new Moana-themed collection has been released, featuring 19 collectible figures accompanied by 20 hardcover books. Each figure is paired with a book that tells the specific story of the character, such as Moana, Maui, Pua, or Heihei.

The collection is designed to facilitate family interaction by combining reading with imaginative play. The concept encourages parents and children to read the character's story together before using the physical figures to recreate scenes from the 2016 Disney film or invent new adventures. A collectible lunchbox is also included to house the figures.

Supporting the educational aspect of the collection, the American Academy of Pediatrics notes that reading with children from an early age fosters language development, literacy, and parent-child interaction.
