MOBA Mobile Automation to showcase digital waste solutions at KOMMUNAL live

MOBA Mobile Automation will present its MAWIS brand portfolio of digital waste management solutions at the KOMMUNAL live trade fair in Fulda on September 2 and 3, 2026.

The company's modular hardware and software suite is designed to help municipalities and waste disposal companies digitize, control, and optimize their processes. Key components include MAWIS. IDENT for container identification, MAWIS. WEIGHING for mass measurement at the vehicle, and MAWIS. SMARTBIN for fill-level monitoring.

A major highlight is the new MAWIS. AI VIEW, an AI-supported camera system designed to detect and document contaminants in real-time during the waste collection process. This system helps identify incorrect waste disposal and assists in meeting stricter organic waste regulations by detecting impurities such as plastics.
