MobiBrasil and MOBI. E announce corporate safety rules and record charging usage
MobiBrasil has launched its ‘Golden Rules,’ a new set of safety guidelines designed to transform the company’s safety culture. The initiative aims to achieve a ‘zero accident’ goal by implementing a zero-tolerance policy toward unsafe practices. The rules categorize infractions by severity: minor errors, such as using a mobile phone while walking in maneuvering areas, result in verbal warnings; moderate infractions, such as failing to use personal or collective protective equipment, lead to written warnings or suspension; and grave infractions involving imminent risk of death are subject to the highest level of disciplinary action.
In Portugal, the electric vehicle charging network MOBI. E reported record-breaking usage in July. The network surpassed one million charges in a single month, a 30% increase compared to July 2025, with over 258,000 distinct users. Electricity consumption also reached a record 25,000 MWh. As of late July, the public network included 8,239 charging stations with 15,680 charging points, nearly 40% of which offer fast or ultra-fast charging. This growth in electric mobility helped avoid more than 20,000 tons of CO2 emissions during the month.
