Mobile Bookstall 'Knihomat' Revives Old Books at Kolín Railway Station

A mobile antiquarian stall called Knihomat sets up each Monday at the Kolín railway station in the Czech Republic whenever the weather is favourable. The stall displays a wide range of second‑hand books sorted into categories, and visitors can purchase them for only a few crowns, giving the books a second life. The operator has highlighted reasons for choosing the station location, addressed past incidents of theft, and provided information on opening hours.

The initiative is part of a local effort to make affordable reading material available and to keep older books in circulation within the community.
