Mobile device management: Tips for data usage and overheating

Mobile users face common technical challenges regarding data consumption and device temperature management. Rapid depletion of mobile data often occurs due to automated background activities, such as automatic file downloads in messaging apps like WhatsApp, automatic application updates via cellular networks, and background data usage by apps even when not actively in use.

Additionally, using a smartphone as a mobile hotspot can lead to device overheating. This occurs because the device must simultaneously receive and transmit data signals, which is a high-performance task. To manage heat, users are advised to close high-power background applications, such as games or video calls, and turn off the hotspot feature if the device exceeds normal temperature limits.
