Indonesia mobile driver's license renewal services announced for August 2026

Various regional police departments across Indonesia have released schedules for mobile driver's license (SIM) renewal services for August 2026. These mobile units aim to provide easier access for citizens to renew SIM A and SIM C licenses without visiting main Satpas offices.

In Bantul, services are scheduled at various locations including the Manding Government Office, Gilangharjo, and Wukirsari, with special Saturday evening sessions at Bantul Expo. Kulonprogo offers services at the Satpas 1450 office, Public Service Malls (MPP), and through the SIMMADE program in residential areas, including a night service called SIMENOR.

Sleman provides services at the Satpas Polresta Sleman, MPP Sleman, and a weekend service at Sleman City Hall. In Jakarta, Polda Metro Jaya operates five mobile points across East, West, South, North, and Central Jakarta, including locations like Mall Grand Cakung and LTC Glodok. Other regions such as Bogor, Bekasi, and Bandung also have designated mobile service points.

Applicants are reminded that these services are only for active licenses. Requirements typically include an original KTP, a valid old SIM, and proof of health and psychological tests. Due to high demand, officials advise arriving early to secure a quota.
